Loïc COUSIN - The Voice

After his years of musical training at the Calais School of Music, Loïc Cousin joined the Conservatory of Lille where he studied piano, accompaniment and chamber music, singing and choral conducting, analyzing and history of music. It performs live as an artist choirs, including The Marriage of Figaro, Carmen or The Breasts of Tiresias. As an orchestral musician, he played in The Medium of Menotti and Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet. Piano teacher and accompanist in the music schools, he also runs for Amateur Choirs directories from classic varieties. It is also expanding its appeal to teaching following the science curriculum of education at the University Lumière Lyon 2.

He perfected write to Lyons Conservatory where he obtained his Master in 2012 and addresses the composition, particularly for vocal ensembles. He currently leads various groups: The Parellier to Parilly Social Centre and at Margue'Rythme Champvert Social Center, the US Choir and vocal ensemble Shhh, We Sing 8 in Lyon, Moon Choir and Luna'Tic MJC Tassin. He regularly composes and arranges his choral songs for which he is responsible.


  Rehabilitation owes its creation to a composition competition for choir in March 2012, whose subject was the commemoration of Joan of Arc. Judged and relapsed heretic, condemned and burnt alive 30 May 1431, Joan of Arc was absolved twenty-five years later during his trial enréhabilitation. This is the text of this trial - in Latin - which is the basis of the work, including text were extracted and selected a few key passages that lead to the verdict exempting any crime.
